John On brings more than a decade of experience as a tax manager with deep knowledge of all areas of public accounting, including income franchise tax, sales and use tax, transfer tax, business licenses, annual reports, and gross receipts tax for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, and Limited Liability Companies. John also has extensive experience in state matters related to pass-through entities, including the determination of business vs. nonbusiness income, nonresident withholding and composite return filings.

John is designated as an Enrolled Agent by the Internal Revenue Service, the highest credential offered by the agency.

Prior to joining Fineman West, John was a tax manager for a global business advisory firm, where he served as lead manager for the West Coast region and assisted clients with all state and local tax matters. He also held a senior tax position at a Big Four firm, where he provided income and franchise tax services.
